Phone Blogger est un outil pour publier vers un Carnet Web via un appel téléphonique. Phone Blogger est une application automate pilotée à la voix qui vous demandera d'abord quelque information sur votre Carnet Web pré-configuré que vous désirez actualiser. Après avoir ramassé l'information ad'hoc, Phone Blogger enregistre votre message audio. Pour conclure, l'automate poste votre billet en plaçant un Hyper Lien vers le message audio pré-enregistré.

Détails techniques :

• Phone Blogger est une application VoiceXML
• Utilise la reconnaissance vocale et les fonctions de "Text To Speech?" pour ramasser l'information sur l'identifiant de votre Carnet Web à actualiser via le réseau téléphonique.
• 2 scripts Python CGI et d'autres programmes sont utilisés pour sauvegarder l'audio et le convertir en un fichier format audio qui peut être aisément relu dans un navigateur Web.
• Un appel XML-RPC est utilisé pour poster une entrée de Carnet Web vers le fichier audio. via billet AudioBlogger

Exemple que vous pourriez lire sur le site :

• You: Dial 1-800-555-8355. On a phone keypad, 8355 = TELL.
• Tell Me: "Tell Me! Hello, welcome to 1-800-555-Tell, sponsored by (Nom Sponsor?)..."
• You: Interrupt the previous message by immediately entering or saying 199999. The 1 informs Tell Me you are requesting the Extensions service. The following five digits identify the requested Tell Me extension.
• Tell Me: "Okay, Extensions. Hang on while I connect you to extension 99999. Extensions content is not produced or monitored by Tell Me Networks."
• Tell Me: --- 5-10 second delay while Phone Blogger program is loaded. ---
• Tell Me: "Welcome to Phone Blogger. Please say the name of your blog."
• You: Wombat Nation.
• Tell Me: "What is your username on the ... blog?"
• You: Robert.
• Tell Me: "Please enter or speak your numeric password."
• You: Enter or say your password as a series of digits on your phone.
• Tell Me: "I heard (reads back password). Is that correct?"
• You: Yes
• Tell Me: "At the tone, please record your blog entry. When you're done, either press pound or pause for several seconds."
• You: Speak whatever you want to have recorded. Press # when you are finished.
• Tell Me: Tells you the size of your recording as a WAV file. The MP3 file will typically be about eight times smaller.
• Tell Me: Plays back your recording. Asks you whether or not to save it.
• You: Yes
• Tell Me: Potentially long delay while audio file is saved to the blog website and converted to an MP3 file.
• Tell Me: Short delay while a new entry that references the audio file is posted to the blog.
• Tell Me: If successful, the ID generated for your new post will be read to you.
• You: Goodbye
